About the Role
Amazon Elastic Container Registry (Amazon ECR) is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to help build and extend our container registry, a critical component for containerized applications on AWS. This role involves addressing technical challenges related to speed, scalability, and security, and contributing to the evolution of container usage at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build and extend Amazon ECR.
- Address technical challenges such as reducing container launch time within AWS.
- Contribute to making containers the first choice for modern applications.
- Define how developers use containers at scale.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
