About the Role

This role is in the COO, CFO Group, coordinating the development of automation solutions and web-based applications using RBC’s big data assets. You will identify and prioritize business problems to unlock business value, working with a team of professionals in computer science, data, business analytics, accounting, and finance.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight and collaboration across Finance departments.
Deliver detailed data and analysis to enhance reporting processes.
Engage with key stakeholders.
Apply design thinking and an agile mindset to ETL initiatives and web portal development.
Support data management processes, including acquiring, transforming, and storing data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Develop and manage stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven initiative.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and web development.
Hands-on experience with data processing tools (Pandas, Polars, etc.) and ETL workflows.
Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Clear oral and written communication abilities.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively with a positive, honest approach.
Must be returning to school after the work term or require the full work term as a mandatory component for graduation.
