About the Role
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will work closely with product management, product development, and sales to ensure our products are clearly positioned, understandably communicated, and successfully launched into the market.
Responsibilities
- Develop target-group-specific marketing strategies, positioning, and core messages for existing and new products, translating complex scientific content into understandable, compelling communication.
- Conceive, create, and coordinate scientifically sound marketing materials, including Data Sheets, presentations, posters, flyers, website and newsletter content, webinars, social media posts, and product training.
- Ensure the scientific and technical quality of product communication and marketing materials in close collaboration with Application Specialists and product development.
- Visually and digitally implement content in conjunction with design and web development.
- Identify new communication formats and channels for the product portfolio and manage external service providers as needed.
- Develop launch messaging, campaigns, and materials for new products in collaboration with product management, product development, and sales.
- Plan and coordinate digital marketing campaigns for lead generation and international marketing.
- Further develop positioning based on market and sales feedback with sales and Application Specialists.
- Identify new market potentials and application fields with sales and product management.
- Create sales enablement materials such as presentations, product comparisons, and argumentation aids.
- Support sales in international distributor and customer activities, e.g., training, trade fairs, and roadshows.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Life Science, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or a comparable natural science field.
- Initial, ideally several years of professional experience in product marketing, product management, sales, or a comparable B2B environment.
- Ideally, knowledge in areas such as PCR/qPCR/dPCR, quality control, biopharma, or cell and gene therapy.
- Enjoy understanding complex scientific relationships and preparing them understandably for different target groups.
- Very good communication skills and excellent German and English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Structured, independent, and reliable way of working, along with organizational talent to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Initiative, creativity, and enjoyment in contributing and implementing one's own ideas.
- A strong sense of teamwork and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration.
