About the Role
This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining office, plant, and grounds, performing minor repairs, and potentially supervising other maintenance workers. The primary objective is to follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance with ISO 9001.
Responsibilities
- Completes assigned weekly maintenance schedule with minimal supervision, potentially directing tasks to other crew members.
- Cleans and maintains office, plant, visitors' residence, and grounds.
- Dusts, mops, vacuums office furniture, plant areas, and floors.
- Cleans restrooms and lunchroom fixtures, replacing supplies.
- Removes waste materials from plant and office areas.
- Assists with set-ups for employee social activities.
- Periodically strips, waxes, and buffs tile floors.
- Performs minor plumbing or mechanical repairs.
- Performs light construction projects.
- Operates chemical distiller and maintains chemical stations.
- Shovels snow, removes ice from walkways, mows lawns, and performs routine landscaping.
- Selects appropriate materials for cost-effective and safe task completion.
- Drives company vehicle daily for deliveries.
- Uses hand and power equipment.
- Maintains safe work habits per PCB standards and procedures.
- Performs other duties as directed for the efficient operation of the maintenance team and PCB.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations.
- One year of Maintenance I work or equivalent experience.
- May be required to have and maintain a valid driver's license and record of safe driving.
- Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology prior to beginning work, as this position requires access to "controlled technology" and "technical data" as defined by Export Administration Regulations and International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
