About the Role
Endeavor's Platform team is seeking a curious, hands-on intern to help build the AI organizational infrastructure. This role involves discovering team needs, prototyping AI capabilities, and creating enablement systems for safe and effective AI adoption across global offices. The intern will gain practical experience with enterprise AI tools and contribute to lasting impact on how colleagues work worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead structured interviews with local offices and functional departments to map workflows, pain points, and AI experiments.
- Identify needs for shared, governed capabilities versus isolated solutions.
- Determine infrastructure, training, and guardrails required for effective team AI building.
- Prototype agentic workflows, Claude skills, MicroApps, and retrieval features on the enterprise stack.
- Package functional prototypes for adoption by other markets.
- Create templates, playbooks, starter kits, and documentation for self-service AI development.
- Support the creation of structured, actionable intelligence from captured knowledge.
- Develop retrieval pipelines and knowledge graph work for institutional memory.
- Define success metrics, output quality checks, and evaluation loops for built capabilities.
- Contribute all work to Endeavor's AI Registry for tracking and auditing.
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and possess valid U.S. work authorization for the 2027 year.
- Undergraduate Junior or Senior, or Graduate student in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Candidates from other disciplines with relevant skills and demonstrated building experience are encouraged to apply.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs beyond casual chatting (e.g., class projects, hackathons, personal projects).
- Experience with prompting, agents, RAG, or API integrations (Anthropic/Claude, OpenAI, or similar).
- Working knowledge of Python or TypeScript/JavaScript and basic SQL.
- Ability to understand technical architectures and explain them clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication with an analytical-first mindset.
- Comfortable asking 'why' to get to the root of a problem.
- Ability to turn research into actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable working in a multilingual, global, cross-cultural environment.
- Ability to incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders.
