About the Role
Seventh Heaven Event Catering is seeking skilled chefs and cooks for on-site events across the Halton Area Region. Join our award-winning culinary team to prepare and serve food in diverse, fast-paced event environments, from luxury weddings to corporate galas.
Responsibilities
- Executing menus for events ranging from 10 to 1,000+ guests
- Leading or supporting a kitchen team in on-site setups
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
- Collaborating with chefs, planners, and service staff for smooth execution
- Packing, transporting, setting up, and breaking down mobile kitchens
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional culinary experience
- Event or catering experience is a plus
- Ability to work solo or lead small teams
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in high-heat or mobile environments
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Access to reliable transportation is an asset
