About the Role
Ludico is seeking a polished and welcoming Host to serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a positive first impression in an upscale, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Manage waiting lists during peak hours.
- Answer phone calls professionally and handle inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Assist with special events and large party arrangements.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host in a fine dining establishment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in reservation management systems.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of light lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Must provide a resume.
