About the Role
The Summer College Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship experience designed for undergraduate and graduate students. It offers opportunities to attend development workshops, network with professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects. Interns receive mentorship and develop skills throughout the summer, gaining exposure to key business concepts and specific divisional projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operationalization of retention policies across SharePoint sites.
- Support Information Enterprise Repository (IER) content ingestion activities.
- Participate in RIM program governance and oversight processes.
- Support operational reviews.
- Develop training and awareness materials.
- Assist with file migration efforts.
- Create team communications.
- Document procedures.
- Help track program metrics and compliance activities.
- Gain exposure to records management, information governance, Microsoft 365, data lifecycle management, and organizational change management practices.
- Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
- Complete work assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications.
- Perform a mix of technical and/or non-technical tasks covering a broad range of business-related projects.
- Create and deliver presentations at the completion of the internship.
- Consistently demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the Lifetime Healthcare Companies' mission and values.
- Adhere to the Corporate Code of Conduct and lead to the Lifetime Way values and beliefs.
- Maintain confidentiality and protection of member privacy in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other functions as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment (enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program).
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and interface with staff at all levels of the company.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team, establishing good working relationships with peers.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
- Proactive approach to work, displaying creativity and flexibility in completing assigned tasks.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as on intra- and inter- departmental teams as needed.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.
- Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.
- Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training courses as needed.
