About the Role

The Corporate Communications Manager designs, develops, and implements global employee and change management communications. This role manages communications across various channels, including the corporate intranet, ensuring alignment with business strategies and goals. The manager will lead and execute communication plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director, Corporate Communications to plan and execute strategic employee communications programs supporting global business strategies and goals.
  • Support the execution of employee engagement, change management, and other employee communications deliverables.
  • Develop and execute internal and external communications programs to engage employees and enhance understanding of CSA Group’s global business strategy and initiatives.
  • Act as Editorial Lead for CSA Group’s Intranet, developing and delivering an editorial calendar and content.
  • Leverage various channels and tactics, including events, written content, digital media, and videos, to engage employees.
  • Own the execution of key employee communications deliverables such as Town Halls, emails, and newsletters.
  • Support change management communications around key corporate initiatives.
  • Build and manage an editorial calendar to plan employee communication release timing, aligning with key activities from various functions.
  • Monitor and measure the success of employee communications campaigns and materials, providing feedback for enhancement.
  • Ensure all employee communications are mistake-free, support strategic corporate messaging, and contribute to telling the CSA story internally.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all Internal Communications queries within the organization.
  • Produce and develop materials for issues and crisis communications in a dynamic environment.
  • Participate in the development of sensitive and timely communications materials.
  • Ensure all projects are communicated to and coordinated with employee teams as required.
  • Develop financial estimates for projects and monitor overall project expenditures.
  • Measure and analyze results and anticipate project resource needs.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Public Relations, Communications, English, or Journalism is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of internal or employee communications experience in a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience owning intranet strategy and content development.
  • Proven hands-on experience developing and executing employee communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Previous experience managing communications for large-scale change management projects.
  • Previous experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with last-minute changes in plans and direction is required.

Skills

  • Superior interpersonal, relationship building, negotiating, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability aligning and integrating employee communications strategies and tactics with the strategic marketing plan, public relations, social activity, corporate thought leadership, business strategy, and brand vision.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in both traditional and digital formats with a high attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.

Salary/Compensations

  • $88,260 – $115,836 CAD gross annually
