About the Role
St. Ann’s Community is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager for the St. Ann’s Home on the Irondequoit Campus. This role ensures regulatory compliance and nurtures a person-centered culture. A $30k sign-on bonus is offered.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical expertise to the household team.
- Conducts nursing assessments, including nutrition, elimination, hydration, skin integrity, respiratory and cardiac functions, mobility, cognition, and pain.
- Promotes resident self-determination in activities, schedules, and healthcare choices.
- Ensures clinical operations comply with federal, state, and St. Ann’s Community policies.
- Coordinates unit-based Quality Assurance Program and completes necessary documentation.
- Oversees maintenance of resident clinical records and maintains confidentiality.
- Assists with diagnostic procedures as assigned.
- Admits and discharges residents in collaboration with CNO/ADON.
- Completes resident and family rounding with effective communication and follow-up.
Requirements
- RN required.
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training.
- CPR Certification required within one month of hire and must be maintained.
