Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment.
- Service rooftop units, packaged systems, split systems, air handlers, exhaust fans, and controls.
- Troubleshoot refrigerant, airflow, electrical, and mechanical problems.
- Respond promptly to urgent HVAC issues and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs when needed.
- Maintain accurate service records and preventive-maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of commercial HVAC service or facilities maintenance experience.
- Experience diagnosing rooftop and packaged commercial HVAC systems.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to travel between locations during the workday.
- Comfort working on rooftops, lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors.
