About the Role

Gain hands-on exposure to database administration, reporting, automation, and data warehouse support in a professional financial services environment while contributing to meaningful work.

Responsibilities

Support SQL Server administration tasks, including query performance tuning, index management, and job monitoring.
Assist with report modernization, data warehouse support, and automation opportunities.
Gain experience using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, PowerShell, and related database management tools.
Learn about database patching, server configuration, and optimization practices.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, document work, and contribute to assigned projects.

Requirements

Current college student pursuing Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Coursework or interest in databases, SQL Server, PowerShell, reporting, data management, or programming.
Strong curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
Ability to organize information, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate clearly.
Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
College/University must be located in the Binghamton, NY , Saddle Brook, NJ or Muhlenberg, PA or surrounding areas (Spring Semester January 2027-May 2027).
Must be a current College student during Spring 2027.
