About the Role

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, contributing to our mission of providing friendly, personalized, high-quality financial services. This role is crucial for maintaining customer and deposit account information, ensuring accuracy and adherence to bank guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Enter, maintain, and verify customer and deposit account information, including Certificates of Deposits, Debit Cards, Demand Deposit accounts, and Customer Information.
  • Manage debit card lifecycles: opening new cards, maintaining existing ones, and closing accounts.
  • Process changes to restricted accounts and account-level monetary holds.
  • Perform monetary processing, including setting up sweep services.
  • Enter and balance fee reversals and EFT batches.
  • Maintain Account Analysis records.
  • Review all maintenance requests and performed actions for reasonableness and accuracy.
  • Assist the Deposit Operations Department in achieving annual goals.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Complete all training requirements in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient PC skills.
  • Proficient typing and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Two (2) years of data processing and banking experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
