About the Role

Join our team to help children with special needs achieve greater independence and an enhanced quality of life. This role involves providing therapeutic interventions and collaborating with families and school teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
  • Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
  • Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
  • Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
  • Collect data on each IEP goal and report on progress quarterly.
  • Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Salary/Compensations

  • $60-$120/hour
  • Larger groups can earn up to $200+ per hour
