About the Role
The Correlative Studies Program supports advanced translational cancer research by providing comprehensive biospecimen management services, with the overarching goal of contributing to the discovery of novel cancer diagnostics and treatment strategies.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, vital signs assessments, and ECG procedures according to study protocols
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to conduct timed blood sampling and assessments
- Facilitate the efficient flow of patients through various stages of the clinical trial
- Order, prepare and manage biospecimen collection kits
- Chart and document procedures and assessments in the patient electronic medical record (e.g., Epic)
- Maintain and update study documents, databases, and equipment maintenance records
- Apply quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate, complete, and high-quality data
- Interpret and adhere to applicable clinical research regulations
Requirements
- Completion of a community college diploma in a health-related discipline, or equivalent, required
- At least 3-6 months related experience required
- Proficiency with MS Office software required
- Current UHN employees must have successfully completed their probationary period, have a good employee record along with satisfactory attendance in accordance with UHN's attendance management program, to be eligible for consideration

Salary/Compensations
- CAD 53,747 - CAD 67,184 per annum
