About the Role
Join a team of tech-enthusiast engineers and contribute to the development of a multinational drone early warning system, a pioneering project in the defense industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize a multi-sensor perception and fusion system for a drone early warning system with a learning map architecture.
- Integrate hardware and software with innovative AI models on various sensor devices.
- Develop performant and memory-efficient code in C++, Rust, or Python for deploying machine learning models on resource-constrained edge hardware.
- Configure robust operating system images using Yocto Project and optimize the software stack for hardware-accelerated ML workloads.
- Utilize Zephyr for configuring, managing, and optimizing the RTOS.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in Edge ML across the entire embedded lifecycle, from architecture and sensorics to target hardware integration, production, and post-production support.
- Ability to technically advise the team in the Edge ML domain.
- Professional experience in a Yocto and Zephyr environment.
- Ability to answer team questions regarding Yocto and Zephyr.
- EU citizenship is required due to security regulations.
- Registered residence in an EU country.
- Fluent English.
- Willingness to travel 2-3 days per month to Berlin.
