About the Role

NYC DOE is seeking paraprofessionals to support students and school communities in primary and secondary education settings. In this role, you will contribute to a student-focused environment by working closely with teachers and school staff to reinforce learning, support student development, and help maintain consistency throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom support to students under teacher direction throughout the school day.
Assist students with academic tasks, behavior management, and daily routines.
Support individualized learning plans and help reinforce lesson objectives.
Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers and staff.
