About the Role
Pavarini McGovern is seeking a Senior Superintendent to oversee construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective coordination, quality control, and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
Responsibilities
- Prepares the project schedule and maintains accurate project status reports.
- Oversees field coordination, quality control, and daily supervision of subcontracted work forces.
- Reviews project status and progress with the Project Manager and client representatives.
- Ensures implementation and adherence to safety standards by all personnel.
- Directs sub-contractor activities, particularly within pharma projects.
- Analyzes manpower, material, and equipment requirements and coordinates with other teams.
- Implements and enforces company policies and procedures.
- Prepares reports and forecasts, keeping supervisors informed of progress.
- Ensures operational areas are safe and equipment is in safe working condition.
Requirements
- 10+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
- Commercial and Mid-Highrise construction experience is preferred.
- Supervisory experience as a Superintendent is required.
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- DOB Superintendent license required.
