About the Role
Sunshine Bouquet Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floral Merchandiser to service one of our key clients. This individual will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and merchandising high-volume fresh-cut flower displays. Floral Merchandisers represent our company and our products at the store level. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail and thrives under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Check floral product quality and ensure display compliance with planograms.
- Lead in re-setting new floral departments for grand openings and store remodels.
- Assist in training of floral manager in "ordering to sales".
- Train and evaluate floral leads on the proper execution of the merchandising plan.
- Complete and submit customer reports.
- Access cold storage and warehouse area as needed.
- Occasionally move palletized product using a manual pallet jack.
- Lift and palletize boxes when necessary.
Requirements
- Must be able to travel.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the workday.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- No allergies to floral materials or foliage.
- Ability to follow planograms accurately.
- High attention to detail when handling product.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime during floral holidays.
- Strong communication skills with supervisors and clients.
- Adherence to all safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Experience supporting a field sales organization (highly preferred).
- Prior experience in the floral industry (required).
- Prior merchandising experience (required).
