About the Role

Digitas' Precision team is seeking an outstanding Manager to lead digital media activation. This role involves actively driving performance for major brands, managing analysts, and ensuring successful campaign execution. It's an opportunity to make a significant impact on client businesses and the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee analysts and senior analysts on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure analysts are equipped for campaign management activities, including setup, optimization, maintenance, QA, reporting, and billing reconciliation.
  • Play a role in campaign setup, providing final QA, and confirming smooth operation.
  • Provide feedback on optimization recommendations and guide analyst development.
  • Contribute to client decks and status documentation.
  • Drive the growth and development of team analysts and provide feedback to senior management.
  • Direct and manage the daily workflow of client campaigns, including proposal development, activation, maintenance, and post-buy recaps.
  • Interface with media strategy teams to build strategic plans, communicate recommendations, and identify new solutions.
  • Prepare client deliverables, ensuring quality and sound recommendations.
  • Own the development of strategic proposals, coordinating inputs and aligning with associate directors.
  • Assume accountability for campaign execution and monitor/report on performance.
  • Communicate the agency's value proposition, technology, and processes.
  • Participate in forecasting exercises for senior management.
  • Adopt and ensure adherence to account management standards and program management best practices.
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and developing team members.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of best practices for communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures for campaign implementations.
  • Participate in sessions to share and learn new optimization strategies.
  • Embrace and encourage a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity.

Requirements

  • Four or more years of experience in display and video media buying.
  • In-depth understanding of media planning and programmatic buying.
  • Familiarity with Google Marketing Platform, The Trade Desk, or similar buying platforms.
  • Two or more years of people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of DSP platforms and active campaign optimization experience.
  • Ability to organize and manage personal work and that of junior staff.
  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical/quantitative skills.
  • Solid presentation skills and comfort presenting to key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • A four-year college degree.
  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and generative AI tools is a plus.
