About the Role

Assist Wealth Management Managers and Directors with client services, including preparing financial statements, projections, and supporting client engagements with financial planning knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Gather financial information and prepare net worth, cash flow, investment planning, and investment policy statements.
  • Prepare long-term cash-flow analyses based on client goals, financial data, and investment assumptions.
  • Prepare and review initial drafts of meeting agendas, presentations, and emails.
  • Respond to client and advisor communications thoroughly and timely.
  • Recognize client issues, propose solutions, and add insight to analysis.
  • Participate in client meetings, support preparation, and present assigned materials.
  • Take notes and provide meeting summaries for clients.
  • Monitor action items and coordinate with appropriate departments.
  • Participate in firm-wide and client-specific strategy meetings and continuing education discussions.
  • Participate in process engineering, developing solutions and proposing new ways of working.
  • Become proficient in financial planning software and CRM.
  • Support business-development efforts with COIs, including logistics, communications, and follow-up.
  • Assist with Aspiriant-sponsored activities and events.
  • Partner with managers and directors to reach business development goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of personal financial planning (retirement, employee benefits, insurance, investments, estate planning, executive compensation).
  • Solid investment background and comfort advising on portfolio optimization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with managing investments, including portfolio design and diversification.
  • OUTSTANDING written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of client engagements.
  • Ability to fluently present financial planning materials and concepts.
  • EXTREMELY meticulous with a proven ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Impeccable ability to maintain privacy.
  • Self-starter who takes accountability and sees projects through to completion.
  • Collaborator who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively report to multiple professionals and manage priorities.
  • Interest in learning business-development practices and supporting relationship management.
