About the Role
As an intern, you will work alongside experienced practitioners and with clients and communities, gaining hands-on experience to solve complex challenges. This role offers practical skills, networking opportunities, and career-building experiences.
Responsibilities
- Support multiple commissioning projects.
- Support retro-commissioning projects.
- Support solutions design.
- Support energy audits for a wide variety of clients and facility types.
- Support different senior commissioning leaders in their project delivery.
Requirements
- Registered EIT or in the process of obtaining the EIT.
- Ability to travel regionally on occasion.
- Ability to drive, travel, and work after normal business hours and over the weekends.
Skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and building equipment/systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong background with Microsoft® Office Suite.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of building energy and sustainability.

Experience Level
- 0-2 years of experience in a technical consulting field such as facility design, engineering, construction management or related area.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and in the process of graduating within 12-16 months.
