About the Role
The Southern Queens Park Association (SQPA) is seeking two customer service-oriented, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Part-Time Maintenance Workers. This role involves performing general repairs, assembling furniture, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep of SQPA's facility spaces.
- Assemble and install office furniture, shelving, whiteboards, bulletin boards, equipment, and other facility furnishings.
- Identify maintenance concerns, troubleshoot issues, and complete minor repairs.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections and document findings.
- Assist with event setup, room configurations, and breakdowns.
- Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Monitor and remove garbage and recycling.
- Order, organize, and stock maintenance and operating supplies.
- Safely operate commercial cleaning equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience preferred.
- History check is required.
