About the Role
The Academy of Mount St. Ursula, an all-girls Catholic high school, seeks a mission-driven educator to join our World Languages Department as a High School Spanish Teacher. We are a diverse school community and welcome applicants of all faiths.
Responsibilities
- Foster a supportive, faith-centered learning environment.
- Teach Spanish courses to students in grades 9–12.
- Develop engaging lessons that build students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish while integrating Hispanic cultures to foster global awareness and cultural appreciation.
- Collaborate with colleagues and uphold Catholic doctrine and values in daily teaching.
Requirements
- Committed to Catholic education.
- High school Spanish teaching experience and strong classroom management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students of varying language proficiency levels.
