About the Role
CompassCare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a female client in Hartsdale, Westchester County. This role offers a full schedule with specific weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Companionship and emotional support
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and record vital signs, as appropriate for the client’s care plan
- Assistance with mobility and transfers as needed
- Transportation and accompaniment to appointments or errands, when required
- Helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the client
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum of 2 years of one-on-one home care experience working with elderly clients
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional
