About the Role
Operations is central to Amazon's success, ensuring timely processing and dispatch of items. As an Operations Lead/Supervisor, you will be the primary point of contact for team members during shifts, ensuring adherence to established processes and gaining hands-on experience with operational tools and systems.
Responsibilities
- Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance, and provide shift information to frontline management.
- Support and train employees to deliver great service and supervise their daily tasks.
- Assist the Shift/Area Manager with projects to improve processes, cultivate a safe working environment, and increase workforce engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve common issues or support needs.
- Utilize data analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
- Relevant experience working with data analytics and using metrics to identify problems.
- Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
- Experience of stakeholder management including building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Experience in an operational environment, such as logistics, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
