About the Role
Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin is seeking tech specialists to join their global team, focusing on financial services innovation. The Berlin location is growing and committed to building a diverse workforce. The Autobahn Platform is Deutsche Bank’s digital platform for Corporate and Investment bank, enabling seamless delivery of core business services through UI and API channels. You will be part of the Autobahn Platform Desktop team, responsible for building key channels and the Magneto framework.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical lead within the .NET / Windows / WPF ecosystem, providing direction and guidance on design and implementation topics.
- Take ownership across the full development lifecycle, including technical concept, implementation, review, and production readiness.
- Lead collaboration with QA and BA teams to define, refine, and validate functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Serve as a key technical contact for other development teams using the framework and container APIs, supporting integration and adoption.
- Drive the definition and evolution of user interfaces in close collaboration with the UX team, ensuring consistency and usability.
Requirements
- Deep and comprehensive expertise in the .NET framework and C#, including advanced language features, architectural patterns, and best practices.
- Strong and applied knowledge of data structures and algorithms, used to design efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Many years of hands‑on experience in designing and building high‑performance desktop applications, with responsibility for technical quality and long‑term maintainability.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, applied to complex technical challenges and system‑level decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective technical leadership, stakeholder alignment, and knowledge sharing within and across teams.
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
