About the Role
The Communications Advisor, CRE will lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of communications supporting workplace initiatives, operational priorities, and employee experience objectives across Sun Life's global portfolio. This role partners strategically with Corporate Real Estate (CRE) to establish communication frameworks, drive alignment, and ensure employees receive timely information while advancing operational excellence and strengthening the CRE brand.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, planning, and governance of workplace and tenant communications.
- Develop integrated communication plans and messaging to support employee experience, operational priorities, and enterprise objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace and building communications.
- Establish and maintain communication standards, processes, and best practices for consistency, quality, and effective information sharing.
- Lead the delivery of employee-facing communications, including building notices, operational updates, and workplace announcements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support communications for workplace projects, programs, events, and change initiatives.
- Strengthen the CRE brand through strategic storytelling that showcases the team’s impact, services, and contributions.
Requirements
- 3-6+ years of relevant experience.
- University degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, consistent, and audience-appropriate communication.
- Proven ability to build relationships across teams and regions.
- Proficiency in SharePoint Online, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office.
- Corporate real estate, workplace, or property management communications experience is considered an asset.
