About the Role

The Wealth Path Wealth Advisor supports regional business development and client service efforts within a team-centered environment. This role functions as the primary trusted advisor for a book of clients, focusing on retention, asset growth, and successful client onboarding. The advisor will also act as a subject matter expert in various financial planning areas and manage client communications.

Responsibilities

  • Function as the primary trusted advisor to a book of 150-250 Wealth Path clients.
  • Ensure client retention and bring in additional assets from existing clients to transition clients from Wealth Path into Custom Wealth.
  • Successfully onboard or transition 10-50 new clients annually to achieve a client book size of 250.
  • Support Regional Vice Presidents and Managing Directors as a subject matter expert in investments, tax, pension, estate, insurance, and general financial planning.
  • Analyze, draft, edit, deliver, and present financial planning modules to clients.
  • Manage client communications and follow-up with clients' other advisors.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards for client care, including annual meetings, referrals, and retention.
  • Attend company workshops or lectures and speak to groups of potential clients.
  • Implement company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (preferably Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance related).
  • Five to twenty-five years of job-related experience.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • Strong knowledge of and ability to present investment, finance, insurance, and tax planning concepts.
  • Excellent client focus and client-oriented approach.
  • Sales aptitude and experience highly desired.
  • Continually seeks to enhance job knowledge, learns quickly and efficiently.
  • Humble, entrepreneurial, hardworking team player with a positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Salesforce and financial planning software preferred.
  • Technical and analytical training and experience in financial planning.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, versatility, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in a team environment.
  • Ability to work without close supervision, managing and prioritizing deliverables.
  • Highly flexible and confidential with all matters.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as required for client meetings and national trainings/seminars.

Salary/Compensations

  • $85,000—$145,000 USD
  • Eligible to earn an annual bonus and other incentive compensation.
