About the Role

As a Steward/Dishwasher at JW Marriott Hotel Berlin, you will ensure cleanliness and order in the kitchen and service areas, contributing to a great guest experience.

Responsibilities

Cleaning of kitchen and service areas, including night shifts.
Preparing individual stations for service.
Washing all materials from F&B outlets.
Safe handling of cleaning agents and chemicals.
Ensuring quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Performing small preparation tasks, such as setting up and dismantling buffets.
Daily inspection of cleanliness and hygienic standards in cold rooms and storage areas.
Working both early and late shifts.
Participating in department-relevant meetings, training, and development opportunities.
Note: This role involves some heavy lifting.

Requirements

No formal training required; career changers are welcome.
Previous experience in stewarding is desirable.
Good German and English language skills are an advantage.
High sense of responsibility and excellent service and hygiene qualities.
Confident, friendly, and exemplary demeanor, especially in guest areas.
Hands-on mentality with attention to detail.
Warm, authentic, and sociable personality.
Flexible availability and a strong awareness of quality.
