About the Role
Collegiate School is seeking a Middle School Head Basketball Coach for the 2026–2027 winter season to support the development of student-athletes through effective instruction, skill development, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Coach and support student-athletes during practices and games throughout the assigned season.
- Provide basketball instruction and support age-appropriate skill development.
- Promote a positive team culture and strong sportsmanship.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the coaching staff and School community.
- Support a positive and developmentally appropriate experience for student-athletes.
- Fulfill the schedule and game-day commitments associated with the assigned coaching position.
Requirements
- Prior basketball coaching and/or playing experience.
- Experience working effectively with Middle or Upper School-aged students.
- Must be able to complete a background check with fingerprint clearance.
- Must possess or obtain, prior to the start of the season, current First Aid and CPR certification.
