About the Role

Perform Supervisory functions in the parameters set-forth by the parent company. This role is based in Buffalo, New York, and involves working 2nd & 3rd shift with Sundays and Mondays off.

Responsibilities

Perform functions directly related to a manufacturing facility.
Perform shipping and receiving functions.
Perform operational computer transactions.
Report to the warehouse manager for daily operations and job assignments.
Supervise the implementation of all S.O.P. procedures, GMP policies and Quality Control formats.
Supervise the selection and staffing of all production requisitions.
Ensure all employees are punched in for their shift start.
Ensure all employees are properly equipped with a uniform; helmet, safety glasses, hairnet, etc.
Ship and receive all manufactured goods and raw materials according to South Park S.O.P. policies.
Check the rotation and charging of driver’s batteries.
Process all dispositional HOLDS with the forklift operator – verify quantities and properly identify in relation to the disposition.
Ship and receive all loads assigned by the department manager.
Run bills of lading and process product transfers on the AS400 when required.
Participate in monthly physical inventories as designated by the corporate staff, and perform cycle counts with the department manager.

Requirements

Experienced forklift knowledge/operator necessary.
Perishable and dry goods warehouse experience preferred.
Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
Knowledge of computer software is necessary.
Inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats preferred.
AS400 Prism knowledge, Word and Excel a plus.
Valid Driver’s License required.
