About the Role
Provides administrative and secretarial support for the Office of Curriculum and Educational Development.
Responsibilities
- Assists with course implementation, including collecting/uploading course materials, maintaining/revising course faculty databases, and organizing faculty/student mailings/files.
- Arranges and oversees the distribution of course-related correspondence, prepares schedules and student group composition materials, and coordinates course-specific activities.
- Assists in the recruitment of faculty for courses.
- Assists with the student assessment process by creating, distributing, collecting, and processing assessment forms.
- Assists with the course evaluation process by creating materials, implementing distribution and collection, and generating reports.
- Provides Educational Committee support by arranging meetings and recording, compiling, transcribing, and distributing minutes.
- Provides faculty support, including arranging ad hoc meetings, coordinating course session rooms, providing AV support, confirming faculty participation, reporting absences, and retrieving/duplicating course materials.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
Requirements
- Prior related experience.
Skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills.
- Competent in the use of computers including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and email Internet programs.
