About the Role
Incumbent is responsible for food preparation, cashier duties, and maintaining cleanliness of concession and retail area.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for opening and closing concession and retail areas, including setup, equipment operation, and restocking.
- Apply understanding of food handling techniques and standard kitchen procedures.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
- Learn and perform all kitchen duties, including cooking hot and cold food, counter service, and cashier duties.
- Manage cash drawer and ensure accurate accounting of all daily monies.
- Assist guests with menu and product selection, answering inquiries.
- Sell and promote products using product knowledge, providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in inventory management.
- Handle quality control, emphasizing portion control and presentation.
- Operate large volume cooking equipment such as grill, deep fryers, and char broiler.
- Attend all departmental meetings and in-services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Previous customer service, food preparation, and/or retail experience preferred.
- Must possess good math skills.
- Must have a positive personality with the ability to work closely with guests.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass an SGA background clearance in accordance with National Gaming Commission Regulations.
