About the Role
Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking experienced Plant Health Care Specialists who are ambitious self-starters with a passion for preserving and caring for trees. This position focuses on monitoring, evaluating, and providing plant health care for trees and shrubs on commercial and residential properties in a professional and safe outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform tree and shrub care treatments using prescribed methods.
- Communicate with clients regarding work performed.
- Mix and apply pesticides and fertilizers according to regulations and instructions.
- Maintain and operate equipment and vehicles properly.
- Complete accurate daily record-keeping and reporting.
- Safely drive a company vehicle to multiple properties.
- Work as a member of a tree care crew under supervision during the off-season.
Requirements
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
- Interest in working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to learn to identify trees and shrubs common to the region.
