About the Role
Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver with a Secret Security Clearance in Liverpool, NY. This role involves safeguarding clients in industries like Aero/Defense, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, and providing exceptional customer service. The position offers flexibility with scheduling and opportunities to explore new roles through the Claim a Shift platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
