About the Role
As a Climbing Arborist, you will be an integral member of a tree care team with the primary responsibility of climbing trees and assisting Arborist Crew Leaders in performing all tree and shrub care services on residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform ground duties, tree climbing, and aerial rigging tasks in support of specific work assignments as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader
- Safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including: Tree identification, Tree risk assessment, Pruning, Removals, Cabling and bracing, Root collar excavations
- Properly maintain and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety regulations and company safety policies
Requirements
- Passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
- At least one (1) year of experience in tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation within the tree care industry
- Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in any weather condition
