About the Role
The Regional Asset Protection Manager directs, supports, and trains district and store management in the protection of company assets. This role also involves reporting incidents related to loss risks, policy violations, and operational concerns.
Responsibilities
- Develop and present management and Asset Protection awareness seminars.
- Assist in establishing and monitoring action plans and controls for critical shrink stores.
- Assist in establishing and monitoring shrink goals for retail locations.
- Administer and conduct Asset Protection audits to identify vulnerabilities and policy violations.
- Provide direction, coaching, and support for investigations of suspected dishonesty, fraud, and crimes.
- Conduct investigations of significant cash losses, robberies, and burglaries.
- Monitor, analyze, and follow up on statistical data related to inventory or cash losses.
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting of company loss incidents to corporate Asset Protection.
- Maintain knowledge of Asset Protection trends, laws, and governmental compliance.
- Assist Risk Management with on-site support for violations of federal or state codes and unusual occurrences or losses.
- Assist in the coordination of physical security programs including alarms, CCTV, and safes.
- Assist Risk Management in administering the Corporate Safety Program.
- Assist Risk Management in governmental compliance.
Requirements
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
- 5 - 7 years of multi-unit retail AP/LP experience
- Wicklander certified
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Training and coaching of field management in CCTV operations
- Strong investigative and interviewing skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all interactions
