About the Role
The Investment Banking Summer Analyst will play an important role on the firm’s advisory team, supporting transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, royalty monetizations, and capital markets transactions. Summer Analysts can expect to receive a higher level of responsibility and deal execution experience than at peer institutions.
Responsibilities
- Conducting company and industry research
- Performing financial and valuation analyses
- Creating business profiles
- Preparing industry overviews on subsectors within the healthcare industry
- Creating detailed financial models for valuation and financial analysis (DCF, LBO, M&A, accretion/dilution, comparable company and transaction analysis)
- Preparing marketing documents, including pitch materials, confidential offering memoranda, management presentations, fairness opinions and board presentations
- Conducting extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk/return parameters of a transaction
Requirements
- Strong desire to work in investment banking

- Currently enrolled full-time at a top-rated institution
- Overall excellent judgment and character
