About the Role

The Market Analyst – Partnerships serves as the analytical bridge between Global Partnerships sales teams and Data & Analytics. This role translates field intelligence into reports and analytics to help Account Managers deepen partner relationships and grow sales. The analyst also develops new reporting for tourism board partners by blending internal network data with external luxury consumer intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Global Partnerships sales teams and Data & Analytics, capturing field intelligence and partner needs and converting them into actionable reporting and analysis.
  • Partner with Account Managers across the Destinations & Experiences and Tourism Board portfolios to build recurring and ad-hoc reports that support account planning, partner reviews, and the achievement of department sales targets.
  • Analyze Virtuoso network data to surface trends, opportunities, and at-risk accounts, and deliver clear recommendations that Account Managers can use to increase partner engagement and sales.
  • Collaborate with the Tourism Board group and Market Research & Insights to design and produce new reports for tourism board partners, combining internal Virtuoso data with external luxury-consumer and destination data.
  • Research and compile external market and consumer intelligence relevant to destinations, tourism boards, and the D&E vertical—drawing on sources such as Tourism Economics—to complement and enhance internal data.
  • Use the defined semantic data layer built by the Data & Analytics team to build reports and dashboards in Tableau and other reporting tools, applying AI to accelerate analysis, summarize findings, and scale report production.
  • Translate analysis into concise, executive-ready deliverables—documents, decks, and dashboards—for Account Managers, partners, and leadership.
  • Serve as an in-house subject-matter resource on destination and tourism-board performance within the Virtuoso network.
  • Support Account Managers and partners with data and content for business reviews, events, presentations, and publications.
  • Monitor the health of the D&E and tourism-board portfolios and proactively flag concerns and opportunities to Account Managers and leadership in a timely manner.
