About the Role
Join ResProp Management at an exciting time as we take over the management of a new apartment community in South Austin. This role offers a key opportunity to establish a strong team, build resident relationships, and set the tone for the community’s next chapter. We are seeking a motivated, hands-on individual eager to make an impact and deliver an exceptional resident experience.
Responsibilities
- Increase property revenue by building a high-performing team with strengths in sales and service.
- Assess, train, and develop the team on salesmanship and operational best practices.
- Build strong relationships with maintenance professionals to ensure the property presents as best in class.
- Be accessible to the needs of the community, including nights and weekends if required.
- Prioritize the team and assist at multiple locations when needed.
- Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by meeting with owners, conducting community tours, providing performance updates, and responding to owner requests.
- Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints, questions, and requests promptly and resolving service issues.
- Follow established procedures for evictions, including proper notice requirements, evicting residents, and representing the community in court hearings.
- Organize and participate in daily huddles to discuss company virtues, business goals, wins, and teammate success stories.
- Complete the budget strategy workbook and the first draft of the annual operating budget by analyzing financial statements, reviewing marketing information, accessing operational reports, and reviewing capital needs.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret market trends to implement short- and long-range marketing and leasing strategies.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and general appearance standards are met.
- Complete all required training to maintain current knowledge of the role and company standards.
Requirements
- 3 years in multifamily property management
- 3 years of hiring, training, and coaching teams
- Solid business acumen with experience owning and driving P&L’s
- Applicants will be required to pass a background check, credit check, and reference check prior to their first day to verify their employment eligibility.
