About the Role

This is a specialist individual-contributor role focused on driving revenue through curated deals and audience data within a specific Holdco (WPP, Publicis, or Omnicom). You will act as the technical specialist within your pod, owning the data organization and trading desk relationships, and leading deals end-to-end.

Responsibilities

  • Own and exceed an individual quota for curated-deal and audience revenue within your assigned holdco.
  • Source, lead, and close curated deal and segment agreements from first conversation through commercial terms, taxonomy sign-off, and activation.
  • Keep pipeline and forecast accurate in CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce).
  • Report on deals activated, segments distributed, spend flowing through curated packages, and identify blockers on stalled deals.
  • Get Genius curated deal IDs and PMPs into the packages your holdco's central trading and curation unit buys from, and into agency-level programmatic teams.
  • Work fluently in The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, Yahoo DSP, and major SSP and curation platforms, plus your Holdco's proprietary planning and activation stack.
  • Negotiate deal structure including floor pricing, fees, scale and match-rate guarantees, tiering, and reporting SLAs.
  • Determine when a curated deal is the right vehicle versus a segment license.
  • Solve deal-scaling issues such as deal-ID hygiene, throughput, win rates, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Get Genius segments distributed, priced, and discoverable across DSP data marketplaces, LiveRamp, Snowflake, and identity frameworks (UID2 and RampID).
  • Map Genius audiences into your holdco's proprietary taxonomy and audience framework.
  • Partner with analytics and data-science teams on clean-room work, modeling, incrementality design, and measurement standards.
  • Provide answers to common data buyer questions regarding scale, match rate, freshness, audience construction, and performance proof.
  • Act as the technical escalation for your VP and account executives.
  • Translate learnings from trading desk and data teams into enablement for the pod, covering audience construction, cost, performance, and objections.
  • Feed deal-level friction back to Product and Data Engineering regarding new audiences, refresh cadence, scale and match rates, and deal blockers.
  • Collaborate with Ad Ops, Insights, and Marketing on case studies, benchmark reporting, and post-campaign proof.
  • Share pricing precedent, objection patterns, and winning structures with Curation & Audience Leads in other Holdco pods.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years in programmatic, curation, audience data, or agency trading on the sell side, at an agency desk, or at a platform, with at least some time spent responsible for revenue.
  • Hands-on fluency in the audience supply chain: deal IDs and curation, DSP and SSP mechanics, data marketplaces and onboarding, identity and match rates, clean rooms, and CPM-versus-data-fee economics.
  • Ability to diagnose why a deal is not spending without assistance.
  • Direct experience working with or inside a major HoldCo (WPP, Publicis, or Omnicom), including knowledge of its stack, taxonomy, and partner approval processes.
  • Working relationships at a major holdco's trading, curation, or data teams, or a demonstrable ability to build them quickly.
  • Ability to sell a data product on its merits to buyers who will pressure-test every claim.
  • Ability to hold your own in a technical conversation with an analytics lead.
  • Comfort making complex things simple and explaining technical concepts clearly.
  • Operating discipline, including accurate forecasting, clean CRM hygiene (HubSpot or Salesforce), and reliable follow-through on operational details.
