About the Role
We are looking for a Menu Planning working student for 12 months to support our operational and strategic needs for our meal kit product. This role is central to our activity, offering a unique opportunity to learn and gain experience within a fast-growing food industry scale-up.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and optimizing menus using a python-based menu-planning algorithm.
- Work on projects to improve product offering and increase customer satisfaction.
- Lead initiatives to reduce menu risk and ensure ingredient availability by considering the end-to-end value chain.
- Support daily operations, administrative, and organizational tasks in supply and menu planning.
- Participate in projects to optimize, automate, and improve product processes and supply chain.
- Track weekly menu and recipe performance and conduct monthly/quarterly performance analyses.
- Select alternative recipes when needed due to ingredient shortage or marketing requirements.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the recipe and ingredient database in alignment with culinary teams.
- Support the expansion of product offering by uploading and managing customized menu options.
Requirements
- Completing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Initial experience in product management or supply planning is a plus.
- CPG and E-Commerce experience is a plus.
- Excellent command of Excel.
- Knowledge of SQL and Python is a real plus.
- A hands-on mindset and team spirit.
- Fluency in English.
- German language skills are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, rigor, and great attention to detail.
- A proactive and ambitious mindset.
- Enthusiasm for the world of food.
- Interest in data are real assets for this job.
