About the Role
Join our team and help us keep communities connected. Our Dynamic New York City Civil team is looking for an intern for the Summer of 2027.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil engineering projects ranging from roadways, parks, recreational space, waterfront, ADA accessibility, and transit facilities.
- Responsibilities include computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple design calculations, and field inspections.
Requirements
- Minimum requirements include prior exposure to CAD Design programs (AutoCAD/MicroStation), and current good academic standing in accredited engineering school.
- Past experience with Civil 3D and/or Bentley Inroads/Openroads Designer is preferred.
- This position requires a 40hr/week commitment.
- Typical office environment involves working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
- Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
- Summer Interns are expected to work 40hrs/week minimum in the office.
