About the Role
Fitch Ratings is seeking a Director to join the Global Investor Development team in London. This role is part of the Business & Relationship Management (BRM) organization and aims to position Fitch Ratings as the agency of choice with investors by promoting its research, thought leadership, and capabilities. The team works to embed Fitch ratings and support analytics in investor workflows, driving deeper engagement and providing valuable feedback from the investor community.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate and project finance investors.
- Strengthen Fitch’s brand presence and embed Fitch ratings into investor workflows.
- Develop outreach strategies for buy-side, sell-side analysts, investor associations, and industry groups.
- Manage, deepen, and expand Fitch’s relationships with fixed income investment professionals.
- Organize meetings with analysts, present Fitch’s capabilities, and educate investors on criteria and rating assumptions.
- Lead broader outreach and visibility initiatives in partnership with BRM, Marketing, and Events teams.
- Develop partnerships with sell-side research, investor associations, and industry groups.
- Design and drive a program of virtual and in-person events and campaigns to increase transparency of credit views and rating assumptions.
- Prepare and deliver external messaging that highlights Fitch’s differentiators.
- Identify and help address barriers to Fitch’s adoption in domestic capital markets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for analytical groups on content ideation, market feedback, and investor data analysis.
- Proactively recommend topics for research and data products based on investor feedback.
- Gather and communicate insights on domestic capital markets, financial regulation, and policy developments.
- Identify and promote business opportunities for Fitch Solutions and Fitch Learning.
Requirements
- 6-8 years sell-side or buy-side experience in international fixed income capital market is required.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to create strategic messaging.
- Highly motivated and self-driven with organizational and time-management skills.
- Degree educated or equivalent work experience.
