About the Role

Drive the strategy for how Prime Video becomes the one place customers go to stream all of their favorite content — movies, TV, sports and news. This role involves living in the data and financials to size opportunities, pressure-test offers, and influence leadership to drive roadmaps. It's a role for a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, building the playbook, and working across strategy, partnerships, product, engineering, marketing, and legal.

Responsibilities

  • Develop channel aggregation and offer strategy, bringing clarity and vision to ambiguous questions.
  • Analyze customer behaviors, market opportunities, and financials to size opportunities, model offer constructs, and determine viable bets.
  • Author proposals and narratives to influence leadership for initiative funding and prioritization.
  • Translate findings into requirements for content acquisitions, product, and engineering, and drive alignment for implementation.
  • Collaborate with partnerships, marketing, product, engineering, and legal to pressure-test ideas and build consensus.
  • Benchmark the market by tracking competitor and partner apps and incorporating industry insights for forward-looking initiatives.
  • Oversee initiatives from proposal to launch, keeping leaders informed on progress, trade-offs, and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
