About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Support a premier commercial real estate location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents, observing and reporting activities, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to tenants, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
- Monitor access to the property, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor and contractor management.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
