About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, access points, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns through established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and handling sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
