About the Role

The Targeting and List Production (TLP) team in the marketing department is searching for highly qualified individuals to support marketing operations through design, development, and delivery of pre-campaign targeting analytics in support of demand generation marketing. Campaign Planners interface with Strategic Marketing Managers, Data Science Engineers, Database Administrators, and Legal/Risk/Compliance partners to identify targeted audiences qualified for Bank of America products and services. This role offers the opportunity to learn about various marketing aspects and become a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in pre-campaign targeting analysis.

Responsibilities

Achieve goals through coding and/or metadata management, support and technical direction for platforms and operations, providing input into the design.
Interact extensively with managers and partners across the enterprise to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems or to develop significant process enhancements.
Translate business needs into technical requirements for supported platforms.
Ensure all systems support conform to business needs and specifications.
Capture strategic ideas, identify key data sources, and convert specifications into code.
Run initial pre-sizing analytics of the opportunity.
Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the product eligibility parameters of the particular product or service being targeted.
Understand the permissible/legal use of the data used for targeting to ensure alignment with all necessary legal/risk/compliance expectations.
Feed targeted list assets into both online and offline channels including Email, Direct mail, Authenticated Webpage, Authenticated Mobile App, ATM, Monthly Statements, Outbound Call Centers, Inbound Call Centers, Financial Centers and more.
Manage projects.
Conduct data exploration.
Perform population sizing.
Execute data extraction.
Engage in design of experiment (DOE).
Conduct legal review of data usage.
Manage offline/online channels.

Requirements

Basic understanding of relational database structures and principles.
Basic exposure and/or experience using Python, SAS, SQL, UNICA, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other database access tools with a strong desire to build even greater proficiency in these types of tools.
Ability to build and interpret business requirements documents (BRD) and translate defined requirements into detailed targeting specifications.
Detail oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable communicating complex issues to a wide variety of both technical and non-technical audiences, front line workers and senior executives in either one to one or group settings.
Experience working in a fast-past environment and managing multiple priorities.
Project management experience.
Knowledge of direct marketing campaign process including DOE construction, campaign design, measurement and tracking.
Experience working in the financial industry.
Willing to question the status quo and take assignments to lead a group of peers on capability improvement initiatives.
