About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in transitional housing settings. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, respectful, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with maintaining orderly entry procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
- Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining a professional and respectful presence.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
